My Journey Into PMP Training

My PMP journey began like many of yours: in the trenches of corporate project management, trying to prove myself without the credentials. I was leading multimillion-dollar initiatives but still getting passed over for promotions. The reason? No certification. In 2011, I earned my PMP on the first attempt—and everything changed.

But it wasn’t just about passing the exam. I discovered I had a natural gift for teaching others how to pass it too. Friends and coworkers began asking me for help. I built diagrams. I hosted study calls. I explained concepts in plain English. Soon they were passing their exams—and telling others. That’s when I realized this was more than a side gig. It was a calling.

Scaling from Kitchen Table to Global Reach

In 2014, I launched my first training website. I didn’t charge a dime—I just wanted to help. I wrote workbooks, recorded webinars, and uploaded tutorials. Word spread fast. Eventually, I needed a more professional system. That’s when I moved to Kajabi and built PM Exam Coach—my flagship learning platform.

Within 24 hours of launching, I had my first dozen paid subscribers. Within a year, over 250 professionals were subscribed, paying monthly to access my growing library of PMP content. The platform has since helped thousands—from independent learners to corporate teams at companies like PepsiCo, KPMG, and Northwell Health.
